“i-Challenge”
1st HPVC (Human Powered Vehicle Challenge)

I General Information

A) Objective
To provide an opportunity for BSTE and Engineering students to demonstrate application of sound engineering design principles toward the development of efficient, sustainable, and practical human-powered vehicles.

B) Schedule Summary
Deadline of Proposals - September 10, 2010
Final Submission of Design – October 8, 2010
Race and Presentation of Report – Founders Day 2011

C) Competition Summary
The competition shall include two (2) events: a design event and a sprint. Scores from each event are totaled to obtain the overall score for each vehicle. The overall competition winner must compete in the two events.

D) Registration Schedule
Registration starts on August 9, 2010 and will end on September 10, 2010.
